In this panel, I use abstract forms to convey layered symbolism. The “Center,” or “Heart of the City,” is expressed through a rising sun, an emblem of transformation, renewal, and new beginnings. This imagery reflects DMC’S pivotal role in shaping and advancing the growth of Rochester, MN. Beneath it, a golden pathway evokes the idea of a “Destination Medical Center” suggesting movement, connection, and purpose. The use of clear textured glass alongside blue glass further reinforces themes of innovation and progress within the medical field.
