Statement:
This design lingered in my mind after encountering a vintage mantel clock. Its face rested at the center, framed by delicate flourishes that seemed to grow outward on either side. I wanted the piece to carry a sense of tradition—simple in its structure, yet rich with ornamental movement. The circular glass center became a kind of threshold, inviting the viewer’s eye inward and then gently guiding it back out again. Creating this piece was my way of finally releasing that image that had been quietly turning in my mind.
