Statement:
I had it in my mind to create a functional stained glass plant piece. I knew I wanted to incorporate an antique bottle as the vase (the bottom stamp says 1898!). My brain then dreamed up a built-in metal shelf to hold it, and it worked great. The shelf’s centerpiece is a wire creation that I free-styled (does it remind you of an insect too?). I wanted the overall design and colors to feel vintage and complement the bottle.
